It was recently revealed that actor Joo Sang Wook will make a special appearance on MBC “My Princess” as the “oppa” Kim Tae Hee had consistently been referring to throughout the drama.

During the 9th episode, Joo Sang Wook will play the character of a good looking, smart man named Hyun Woo who studied overseas and was close with Lee Sul ever since their childhood days.

In the episode, Hyun Woo will first get to meet Lee Sul as he coincidentally walks out of the bank together with Hae Young (Song Seung Hun) and sees Lee Sul waiting outside.

Hyun Woo, who came driving in an expensive and flashy imported car, see’s Lee Sul and says, “I read the news and thought it was a joke, but are you honestly a princess?!”

Happy to see him after a long time, Lee Sul was about to run over to him to grab his hand, but was blocked in the process by Hae Young’s impediment as he says, “Princess, it is difficult for me if you obstinately make contact with a person of an unclear identity without prior discussion.”



Hae Young shows immense jealousy at Lee Sul and Hyun Woo’s close relationship, and ends up snarling at Hyun Woo, “Why are you standing there. Go, now.”

Despite his busy schedule with CF and drama shootings, Joo Sang Wook happily accepted director Kwon Suk Jang’s special request for the appearance, and gave a great performance of his role as he harmonized perfectly with Kim Tae Hee and Song Seung Hun.

After filming his last scene for the drama, Joo Sang Wook expressed, “I’m happy that I was able to act in one of director Kwon Suk Jang’s productions again. If I were given the opportunity, I would love to work with Director Kwon again.”

With regards to actors Song Seung Hun and Kim Tae Hee, the actor stated, “They are both very awesome and good looking actors. Although it was only for a little while, I’m thankful to the seniors and staff that made sure I had a warm and comfortable shoot.”

With the success of the drama My Princess these days, MBC Productions has hastened to adapt the story for another format with a novelization.

The novel features a plot that, like the drama, focuses on the development of love amidst the quarreling and clashes of its two leads. However, it purports to differ substantially in its more detailed exploration of the characters’ inner thoughts and struggles.

Still, the book’s probably not too far from the tone of the drama, as scriptwriter Jang Young-shil worked with the novel writer Sohn Hyun-kyung in the adaptation process. The two had also worked together in novelizing Jang’s previous drama, Lovers In Prague. The book also comes with color photos of the leads, for fans out there who love collectibles.

They’ve worked pretty fast to put this out, given that the novel was published before the drama was even half over. They must have been pinning their hopes on the show to be a hit, since I doubt it was written in the three weeks since its premiere. And I suppose novel format gives the characters more time to develop than we see onscreen — though really, at this point, no amount of humanization could make me like Yoon-ju or her ugly lopsided bowl cut. Even if she doesn’t have one in the book. It’s in her soul.

Song Seung Hun and Kim Tae Hee are to share a ‘stairway kiss’ in their drama!

On the upcoming episodes of MBC’s Wednesday & Thursday drama ‘My Princess,’ Song Seung Hun and Kim Tae Hee will share a risky kiss, which is scheduled to air on January 26th and the 27th.

The pair have always argued with one another, but they grew fond of each other over time, and they will finally go deeper into the love lines, showing a more developed relationship.

In the 7th episode, Lee Suhl (Kim Tae Hee) and Park Haeyoung (Song Seung Hun) visit a small village on an island where they shared childhood memories. Lee Suhl begins to slowly find memories of her father and couldn’t hold in her excitement as she decides to drink a bit. In a drunken state, Lee Suhl receives a piggy back ride from Haeyoung and she pecks a surprise kiss on Haeyoung’s cheeks in midst of her drunken banter.



Haeyoung is surprised for a moment, and says to Lee Suhl, who blinks and smiles gently, “What happens right now…forget it,” and shares a romantic kiss with her.

The two filmed the kiss scene on the snow-covered stairs as they fought through the rigorous winds where their lips could freeze. With the kiss scene that could melt Jack Frost, it evokes curiosity as to how the relationship of the two will change.

A representative of the production company Curtain Call said, “Haeyoung did purposely prevent Lee Suhl from ‘becoming a princess’ ,because if she did become a princess with Jaegun, all of his inheritance would be taken away, but he couldn’t hide his beating heart for her and now they’re slowly transitioning into falling in love” and “Episodes 7-8 will be the starting point in foreshadowing the love line between the two”.

In the MBC drama "My Princess" Song Seung-hun and Kim Tae-hee show an electrifying first kiss.

According to the production on the 26th, Song Seung-hun and Kim Tae-hee are expected to kiss in the seventh and eighth episodes coming this 26th and 27th.

Song Seung-heon who is nearly penniless due to return of property, threatens Kim Tae-hee.

On the 19th in the MBC drama "My Princess" shows totally opposite identity changes as Lee Seol (Kim Tae-hee) enters the imperial family and officially starts princess life, and Park Hae-young (Song Seung-heon) possessions get seized.

Grandfather Park Dong-jae's (Lee Soon-jae) properties return also inflicted immensely on Hae-young. The house, even the cup he was holding and the shoes he was wearing had to be returned. The house full of red tags, Hae-young didn't accept reality and asked if this was a joke.

Never having agreed with reestablishing the imperial family, Hae-young thinks of chasing away Lee Seol and getting his possessions back. He then calls her and says, "I am putting together a press conference to announce our marriage. The bigger the scandal between us, the better for me".



Lee Seol begs of him to let her go and that she forgot about him the moment she entered the palace, but Hae-young shouts, "No? Then come out of there" and hangs up the phone.

Lee Seol, trying to stop the press conference gets into a car accident running away from the imperial family, and the two of them meet in the hospital. Hae-young keeing her side the whole night created an odd current and added to the excitement.

However, towards the end of the broadcast, Lee Seol thinks all the distortion is because of Hae-young and feels betrayed. The two peoples' mixed feelings caused viewers to be regretful.

Song Seung-hun is about to shake women's hearts with his romantic guy mode. Song Seung-hun brings Kim Tae-hee who was in a sudden accident, to his home and takes care of her.

Hae-yng (Song Seung-hun) makes porridge and feeds Lee Seol (Kim Tae-hee) and puts a wet towel on her head for her fever and shows a side of him he's never shown before.

In a situation where Hae-young has to stop the imperial family re-establishing and Lee Seol becoming a princess, this could be resentful to him but he takes care of her with all his heart. Hae-young, who's always been so touchy has become the 'romantic warm city guy'.

Viewers expect them to start a love mode after all this time of bickering at each other. Whether or not this pretend couple will actually become the sweet couple for the eyes is an issue.

Hallyu Star Kim Tae-hee is showing off her comedy instincts through the drama "My Princess".

On the 13th episode of MBC Wed.Thu drama "My Princess", Lee Seol (Kim Tae-hee) gives up becoming a princess and heads for Egypt.

However, she unexpectedly was on the list for forbidden departures. Lee Seol then thought of all sorts of reasons why, "Does not paying for your gas bill bring you in this situation?" But it was only Park Dong-jae (Lee Soon-jae) behind it as he saw what Park Hae-young (Song Seung-heon) was going to do.

As Hae-young realized what might've happened, he said, "Don't you get the picture? There's no one else who can do this besides my grandfather" and showed disappointment. Then Lee Seol said with anger, "It's amazing. So this is how high authorities display friendship? The two of you are in on this together?"

However, her anger soon turned to fear. Even when Hae-young said, "This time, the target isn't you. It's someone who wants to make you princess with his all", Lee Seol sighed, "Why, I told you I wasn't going to forgive you with my eyes high up".

The she did an imitation of herself then by using her fingers to make her eyes slant upwards and cause viewers to roar in laughter.

Being a frivolous and idiotic, Kim Tae-hee's various expressions and her fun acting is being highly complimented by viewers.

Viewers wrote on the relevant bulletin, "This scene was amazing. She's pretty and cute even if her eyes are slanted high up", "Beautiful people are beautiful whatever they do", "She's still a goddess".
