Cecilia Musmeci talks about Rodebjer

A relaxing luxury summer life , this is what the Rodebjer's collection S/S 2011 expresses. Carin Rodebjer grow up in Sweden, but she has been educated at FIT in New York and got the inspiration for this collection from a trip to Fisher Island outside Miami. Jersey cotton blend tops are extended into silky capes while low slung trousers fit softly, in coral or navy blue tones. The soft, light volumes and the garments's 70's cuts are definitley in the revival vibe of this spring. The wide set of models proposed, all in the finest fabrics, plays with stripes or fancy floral patterns, and goes from silk shorts to maxi long dresses and playsuits, in a perfect Saint-Tropez style. All eyes are on shoes, halfway between trainers and wedge sandals, undoubtedly in wood, which are tied up with bows at the ankle. The futuristic touch given by the visors, exaggeratedly enlarged in their sizes, is absolutley adorable.
